Poker Chips
For more or less regular home games, matchsticks are not a viable option either. To keep things on level, one needs to purchase at least a set of poker chips (depending on the number of people involved in the game). Poker chips also come in a wild variety of shapes, sizes and materials they're made of. Clay poker chips seem to be the most popular, although few people know there are no pure clay poker chips available on the market, as pure clay is simply not a material fit for this role. What we know as 'clay chips' are in fact chips made of a composite resin based material which also includes some earthen elements like clay.
Cheaper plastic chips are also widely available online, but don't go hunting for authentic casino poker chips: they're not commercialised, as they represent the property of the individual casinos that use them.
